This is just a "pahapyaw" blog about what happened at the inuman session last Saturday night. I know how excited the office folks are to see the photos. Don't worry peeps I'll make the album private.
Anyway, my camera, tripod and remote were physically abused last weekend. I became an official photographer of the group. grrr... I mean c'mon! 460 photos?!?!?! You gotta be kidding me!
While I browse through the inuman pics, I couldn't help myself but laugh all the time. Again, the my camera's remote is just so handy. Gian and I just kept on clicking anyway we can to capture every moment.
Next time na ang upload ng inuman session. Mejo matinding screening pa to!
I couldn't think of a better title for this blog...oh well....
A lot of good, fun and memorable things happened. A lot of food. A lot of walks. A lot of pictures! What's with 460 pictures baby! A lot of horsesandA LOT OF BOOZE!
Pictures and blogs will be uploaded soon. For now, here's the glimpse: PBCom peeps with special guest, Randy
April, Grace and I were on our way to Krispy Kreme last Tuesday night to buy donuts for the coffee break. We were about to pass by Starbucks, when April all of a sudden - stopped and rushed inside and held one of these:
This infamous tumbler is always out of stock in every Starbucks I know in Makati. Well it was our lucky night and since we were not able to bring cash that time, Grace took care of it for us "muna".
Whenever I look at my tumbler it makes me want to fill it up with any of their drinks!
A Message from my dear friend Nonie "Ang Bagong Laya" lol!
Sometimes you want to quit when things start hurting you. You want to leave everything as it is before the pain gets worse. But once you remember how much you've prayed, how much you really wanted it, hope comes back into your heart and maybe, just maybe -- it is worth going this far.
My man, Ichiro Suzuki delivers as Japan won their second World Baseball Classic Championship!
Suzuki hit a two-out, two-run single in the top of the 10th inning, and Japan beat reigning Olympic champion South Korea 5-3 to win its second straight World Baseball Classic title before a boisterous crowd of 54,846 at Dodger Stadium. (accdg to yahoo! sports).
Well it was a heartbreak for me though as I have not been able to watch the whole series.
And what's with Janvier asking me to give back his Ichiro shirt?!
I am craving for a Tuna Salad in Seattle's Best Coffee.
Just last week, KR and I had our brunch together at SBC, and I ordered Tuna Salad for lunch. Voala! lettuce, tuna flakes, tomatoes, olives, carrots and among other veggies topped with cheese and ceasar dressing! I'm gonna buy me one again tomorrow before going home!
This is part of my diet...my action plan...to lose weight. After 6 and veggies for dinner!
I have also limited myself to drinking soda. So whenever I go to a fast food, w/c sometimes di ko din maiwasan na di kumain dito...I usually order lemonade, Iced Tea or Pineapple juice and 3 glasses of water at home, dapat nga more than pa accdg to my mom.
Well, my arms are still stuffed though...so I'm doing push-ups every now and then and sit-ups for my tummy.
All I need to do now --- is to train myself to get-up @5AM and do jogging...time is running out after April, I'll be on night shift again and I won't be able to jog as my body is never used to afternoon exercises...

I am so bored, apart from watching the Lion King...still i am bored...maybe because my body got used to out of towns every weekend. I am missing places like Apo Reef, Ilocos particularly Pagudpud and I wish I can fast-forward the time to April 4&5 because I'll be going back to anawangin with my friends from the office and April 18-19 because I am just excited to see the Happy Beach - Calaguas Island and learn how to skimboard!
And so i made this up to entertain myself...masama ma-bore si pinay manlalakbay!

I've found a new way of expressing myself through this site, and what makes it cooler is that it is very simple to use and it keeps the quality of the photos, probably the next best thing to flickr, as it preserves the color, the pixels and the resolution.
You can upload quotes, links, videos, music, photos, and short blogs here!
Anyway, Aidi decided to throw a farewell party for Nonie last night. We invited all our friends from HR and gathered for the last time to bid farewell for our dearly beloved, flamboyant nanay - Karen Grace Nonisa.
Surely, I will miss this girl. I mean sometimes we do things together...like literally. She became my photography and travel buddy. Kaya nga itutuloy parin namin ang Bacolod Maskara Festival on October! Aidi, Nonie --- we already had a blood compact for this!
While we're waiting for the 6AM meet up time witn Pat. I enjoyed myself taking pictures of Nonie, cleaning up her desk. It was a sad moment for me though, but then again - she's my travel buddy so I'll still be seeing her.
I'm a big oldies music fan! My biggest influence are my parents who until now never gets tired listening to these old tracks. From the sound of Spandau Ballet, to Fra Lippo Lippi to Swing Out Sister to A-ha and Aerosmith
to the ballads of Kenny Logins, Hall Oates, not to mention the super old Simon and Garfunkel, Bread
Disco songs from Stylistics, Bee Gees (GREASE!!!), Earth, Wind and Fire
to the soulful hits of Al Greene, Lionel Richie, Aretha Franklin Patti Austin and Anita Baker!
And who would ever forget, Paula Abdul and Madonna?!
of course not to mention the King of Pop Michael Jackson and her sister - Janet.
So Let me take you back in time...
where music is just so simple to hear with music videos so fun to watch! and where Janet Jackson make them jeans look good!
*If you believe in love - sing! Love will never do without you..."
Been humming this song for a week now. A track from her 2008 album Discipline. There's no official video for this song and so I picked this video - her live performance on Ellen.
Again, my idol Janet Jackson. She, Ciara, and Madonna are the reasons why I love dancing!
Enjoy!

I lost something that is very precious to me and maybe to anyone else...
I was on my way to BPI (around 12 to 1pm) to deposit my payment for my Calaguas Trip this coming April. I put the thingy on my right jacket pocket.
I was already inside when I checked on my right pocket and to my surprise the thingy that I put in there is gone...and so I blushed because one: I almost fainted, two: I looked like a stupid girl who's looking for something and three: I confirmed from there on that the money I worked hard for 15 freaggin' days is gone! My heart was beating fast than the usual...
One of the guards curiously asked: "mam ok lang po kayu?" Leslie: "ok lang...just lost something..." (then i closed my eyes for split second then i left the bank.)
Yes. I went outside with an oddly look on my face, not really teary...I didn't even feel a thing right after...TULIRO is the word. Like my world is spinning...
This was the first time I lost my money after like what? 8 years...hmm can't really remember....but it's been a long time. So right now, PONSTAN 500 sf is trying to cure the headache this, has caused me.
Here's the second part of my "Summer Destinations!" blog. I've got three more places to mention. And boy, how I'm excited to share it to you!
Fourth Trip: Surfvivor Baler February 21-23 Trip c/o Travel Factor
This was my second time in Baler, and since I didn't get to manage to stand up on the board again, I suit myself by taking pictures of surfers and the "newbies" getting stoked!
There are 2 resorts resides in Baler Bay. Bay's Inn and Bahia De Baler w/c by the way is owned by Senator Ed Anggara. Bahia's specialty: Buttered Chicken!
Don't ever miss the Acoustic Bar in Bay's Inn, their Kilawin is so damn good!
If you want to learn to surf, there's Mahdox Surf Shop & Surf School and be trained by the best and dopest surfers in town! Who knows, you might be surfing the bay with Jericho Rosales!
Here are the photos:
By the way, their surf boards are for sale!
He's the No. 1 Surfer in the Country!
Get Stoked!
Baler doesn't only offer a surf spot for tourist/travelers. Baler has a lot of picturesque scenic spots for all photography enthusiasts!
Come and visit the oldest tree in Asia - The Balete Tree
The Dimadimalangat Islets
Travel back in time with Manuel Quezon, in Museo De Baler
Or dip into the cool water of Cunayan Falls
Make sure you pay a visit to Baler's pasalubong center and buy yourselves a bundle of chicharon seaweeds!
Fifth Trip: Photoholic Ilocos Weekend Special February 28 to March 1 Trip c/o Travel Factor
It was March of last year when I first came to Ilocos. Like others, Ilocos has made a huge impact in my life. This is the place where I got myself hooked up with Photography. So when I got my Nikon D80, July of last year, I promised myself that I'll be going back and will keep on coming back to Ilocos.
Food: You simply can't miss their empanada, bagnet and Pakbet pizza! wohooooo!
Here are some scenic spots you can visit in Ilocos.
Paoay Church
The Bell Tower
Bangui Windmills
Pagudpud
And who would ever forget the historical yet romantic ambiance of Vigan's own Calle Crisologo
My next trip with Travel Factor would be UBBE: Calaguas I said it twice I'll say it again... I just couldn't wait to go the Virgin Island and we "kaladkarins" can't wait to celebrate Ced's b-day!
Thanks to: Travel Factor and the photoholics and travelers I met along the trips.
I've been to these places for the past 3 months. I just want to share this to those who are itching for their ultimate summer getaway as April fastly approaches!
(January 10, 2009) First trip of the year: Conquer Pinatubo. Trip c/o Travel Factor
If you want an adventure out of the ordinary maybe a 4x4 ride in the lahar area and 2hrs trek will give you the satisfaction and will give new meaning to the word: "TAGTAG". But I don't think you will mind these at all especially if the view that you're looking for is something as beautiful as this:
Mt. Pinatubo Crater
(January 31 to February 2, 2009) Second Trip: Zambales (Anawangin, Capones and Camara) If you want to go to the beach in a not so hassle way, Zambales is just 4hrs away from ya! Choose from any resort in Bgy. Pundaquit and get ready for island hopping you surely will enjoy!
Anawangin
Capones Lighthouse - Capones Island
Camara Island
Third Trip: UBBE/SNUBA Apo Reef + Pandan Island (February 13-16) Trip c/o Travel Factor
One of the highlights of my 1st quarter! I know now what kind of beach I would want to spend my entire weekend. A remote island, with no signal & no electricity whatsoever! For the first time - ang gaan and ang sarap ng feeling ng walang nagtetext at walang tumatawag sayu! No worries and no distractions! My trip in Apo Reef, was also extraordinary - why? Well because it was my first time to snorkel. If I tell you the reason why? Simple: phobia. What happened? Well, it's a long long story!
Anyway, there is electricity in the island naman w/c is powered by solar panels. And don't you ever think of hotels or resorts in this island. If you truly want to be one with nature - why not bring a tent or why not try sleeping in the sand?
Apo Reef is resting peacefully in the oceans of Occidental Mindoro. Trivia: Did you know that Apo Reef is the second largest atoll-like reef in the world and the largest in Asia? hmmm...astig ng Pinas diba?!
Here are the pics:
A view from the top of Lighthouse
Corals in Apo Reef Photo by Preckie using a Canon G10 with underwater casing.
The Lighthouse
The Mangrove Breeding area of some marine wildlife like Manta Rays, Baby Sharks and Sea Turtles
The Restricted Area This area is the nesting ground of Pawikans or Sea Turtles Sayang di namin nakita si crush and dude!lol!
Pandan Island is one island I'd love to return to. Commercialization is limited, no fresh water, electricity again powered by solar panels, and it's so quiet! No night life! This is what I like! Pandan is 4hrs away from Apo Reef. It is also a home to Europeans and other foreign tourist.
Just like Apo Reef - Pandan Island offeres a great deal of corals, and marine wildlife to all those professional divers out there. And in this place I saw just 8-ft below me, a sea turtle - eating seaweeds and minding its own business, Pawikan is just so beautiful I could stare at it for hours if not only the fear I have of sea lions and stingrays! Yes! Stingrays! Again, I'm good at snorkeling above them but to touch them is not in my vocabulary!
Here are the pics:

Define Beach Bumming?
This concludes my Summer Destination blog part 1. I hope this gives you idea on how and where are you gonna spend your summer vacation.
Philippines has 7,107 islands you just have to choose...
Thanks to: Travel Factor Preckie for the photos and the travelers I met along my trips! ^_^
I've finally made up my mind since last Wednesday. I already talked to the people behind the sudden change of heart. No buts, no hesitations -- I am ready. (halata bang risk-taker ako?)
Thanks to Dada for letting me borrow his HR Scorecards book. Now all I gotta do is to concentrate and put my heart into it. I am excited on what's gonna happen next for me. I don't care if it's good or bad. Hey, what's life without challenge?
Both KR and I have reasons to be jumpin' happy. Me, because I'm here in manila, and spendin' the night with beer and of course with my 2 best friends Pat and Nonie, KR on the other hand, well, may I just say that he's just *DAMN* happy. I mean we don't have to have reasons to be happy ---- if you're happy then JUMP!
Is it me or talagang mataas ang talon namin ni K.R. Thanks to K.G for the photo (Karen Grace) ayan nahawa na ko kay KR mahilig sa initials! ahahaha!
It was Saturday morning when I got a text invite from One - Aidi because it was her birthday and she's celebrating at Pier 1 Timog and Two - Pat, since she knew that for the first time after 5 weekend trips! I'm here in Manila and could use an inuman session with her for the first time of the year this time @ Pier 1 din only in Ortigas..**san pa ba ibang Pier 1 jan?!mapuntahan nga!*
Pat and I rushed to Pier 1 Timog to greet Aidi, and drink that free beer that has been waiting for us for hours! Had a lil' chat and then we're off to Pier 1 Ortigas.
And the PBCOM Peeps are there! I haven't been with KR for a long time coz almost every weekend they're at the Meatshop drinking their hearts out and while I on the other hand, traveling Pinas and getting myself tanned!
Who would've thought na may magtatanong nito --> "Sino ang kumanta ng Last Flight Out?!" errr.. "A1?" whaaaaaaaat?!?!?! And the lait that my D80 got from Gian...(hmpf!)
So here's the PBCOM Family that I have been working with for 3 years and 7 months. And in the next couple of months - we're PBCOM no more. Goodbye to the view at the 50th floor - Hello G5!
It doesn't matter how many bottles ang napatumba namin. Beer was our best friend from a long week of worrrrrr--kkkk...And San Mig Light did a good job on that!
Ouch! I checked my notebook ang dami ko pa palang di napo-post dito sa blog...yung sa baler, ung isa sa Sagada from last year and then the Bacolod experience grrr!
Our Playstation 2 and Nintendo 64 still works fine, PS 1 is now a history and baka palagay ko na siya sa isang glass box sa sobrang classic na nya and pwede na sha ilagay sa museum! - and my psp naman got busted and I still haven't found the time to have it fix.
I'm a big SONY Playstation Fan - I love playing games, NBA, NFL and TEKKEN. Kaya nami-miss ko to!
Oh wow! Na-miss ko ata mag-blog today?! ahahaha! Anyway, after 2hrs of dance rehearsals -- finally I'm back home, where I can first finish what Nikki's asked me to do, and two, BLOG!
I got the idea from Jerome, a good friend of mine who ---- LIKE ME loves to travel Philippines. We love beaches! That's why I couldn't wait to take my feet to Calaguas and feel the Virgin Island's white sand!
WHAT ARE MY MUST SEE BEACHES?!?!
CALAGUAS
EL NIDO
CORON
MALAPASCUA ISLAND
BANTAYAN ISLAND
DUMAGUETE
CARAMOAN
SIARGAO
And my dream is to snorkel, or probably get a chance to scuba dive at Tubbataha Reef - napakatayog at expensive na pangarap naman nito!
I mean, she always sleeps, she just smells strangers but never barked at them, though like any other dogs she hates cats...she plays tag with me that I'd get knocked down on the floor, and her appetite is bigger than her Master.
Just a while ago after I finished cleaning the garage (since we don't have a car this is their playground), I took her soap and called her up. I hid the soap though behind me. I was calling her in a sweet malambing way (i wanted to wash her face because her eyes were full of morning glory!!!) - and she just starred right at me in an odd looking way. When I put the soap back - she just ran towards me...
unfortunately her paws were wet, she left marks on my shirt! Then she stopped, sat down, her tails wagging, and looked at me.
